Love your laundry!
Laundry, by its very non-stop nature can be so overwhelming which is all the more reason to prioritize a pared down, streamlined, minimalist space! Bring calm and order to one of the most used spaces in your home with a few of our tips:
One thing we know for sure - the clunky, free-standing drying rack has to go! When we redo our clients’ laundry space, the wonky, wobbly drying rack is the first to go. It takes up so much space and is always underfoot. Opt, instead, for a wall mounted rack that easily stores away when it's not in use!
When did the laundry room become home to ALL cleaning products? If you can avoid this dump (and opt, instead, to store kitchen cleaning products in the kitchen, bathroom products in the bathroom, etc) and only store laundry products in this space, you’ll free up space to manage laundry more freely.
Once you’ve pared down your products, opt for a lazy susan over dumping in a basket where things may get lost.
Consider ditching the giant jugs of detergent which take up so much space and can be hard to manage! Instead, opt for pods or laundry detergent sheets.
Don’t overlook the amazing storage drawers under many modern machines! We love storing hangers, products, etc. under out machines’ bonus spaces for easy access
The sock graveyard should have a turnover time of two weeks (i.e. if a missing mate isn’t found in that time, it’s time to say buh bye!).
If you’re feeling like a total over-achiever, we love the look of decanting fragrance balls, softener, etc into these cute containers. Pods and dryer balls look great in these.
